THE AUDAIN ART MUSEUM

The Audain Art Museum first opened its doors in 2016 to the public. Its permanent collection showcases the art of British Columbia from the late 18th century to present. Focusing on the collection from James Hart’s The Dance Screen, the most significant contemporary carved cedar Dance Screen in the world. Special exhibitions produced either in-house or on loan from other institutions are intended to enrich the museum experience as well as generate new perspectives on the Permanent Collection.

THE SQUAMISH LIL’WAT CULTURAL CENTRE

The Squamish lil’wat Cultural Centre is full of beautiful exhibits and educational pieces. It embodies the spirit of partnership between two unique Nations who wish to preserve, grow and share our traditional cultures. Don’t miss out on their Winter Feast – join the Cultural Centre after hours for a culinary journey that blends traditional ingredients and food preparation with modern plates while Nation members in regalia share songs and stories from their journey along the Pow Wow circuit.

Learn all about how Whistler grew to become the special place it is today at The Whistler Museum, on Main Street in Whistler. Showcasing Whistler’s history from how it all began, to Whistler Blackcomb, to the Winter Olympic Games in 2010, the museum is full of interactive learning and educative material, suitable for everyone!
